The Winery at Wolf Creek’s peach wine Space Cowboy has just been bottled, featuring one of the new label designs I worked on. It’s a tribute to the famous scene near the end of Doctor Strangelove in which Slim Pickens rides an atomic bomb as it falls through the sky. Yee haw. Singled Out

While Steve Heller may have a point about folksy hand-lettering being a trend in jeopardy of becoming a cliché, I think his Brief Message steps over the line by singling out the portfolio of an artist working successfully in the style.
