Things are moving a lot quicker in the studio this week, thanks to a desktop upgrade. The old G4 iMac is being replaced by this beauty of a machine, the new aluminum and glass iMac with 24-inch monitor. It’s solid, speedy, and best of all, silent. I won’t be missing the constant jet engine fan noise from the old desktop one bit, though I have to give it credit for being an otherwise decent and dependable computer for the last four years. Apple, they’ve done well with their iMac line.
