Jesse Ewing. I have over ten years’ professional experience in visual communications in the areas of graphic design, typography, photography, and illustration. I produce new work full-time under the brand of Inkleaf Studio. I paint in my spare time and enjoy the outdoors and just about anything creative. I currently live in Medina, Ohio, with my wife Chelsea and our chinchilla Sasparilla.
Inkleaf.net was first launched in 2001. This is the seventh revision, launched in February, 2008. Certain elements and pages may not display correctly in older versions of Internet Explorer. This is because Internet Explorer is a terrible, terrible browser.
The script used for image popups is Cabel Sasser’s FancyZoom. I build the site with Photoshop, Coda, Transmit, and TextWrangler. Hosting is by Media Temple.
The text on the site is set in Verdana and Georgia, both by Matthew Carter. The studio identity consists primarily of Jan Tsichold’s Sabon, with Adrian Frutiger’s Avenir as a supporting typeface.
